The Jordan Jumpman Pro lends itself well to simple colourways, which is perfect for a team-oriented shoe. The latest edition skips on the black and white duo in favour of a colour you should ‘never’ mix with black. The pair pictured above features a clean mix of white tubmled leather on the forefoot and navy blue suede on the eyelets and suede. This combo looks excellent with the metallic silver Jumpman logo on the lower ankle. We’ll update you with more release info as it becomes available.

Killersneakers.com Air Jordan 1 Retro High (Girls) – Black, Red Plum, White – August ‘09
July 24, 2009Ok, so we know that there have been a lot of different Air Jordan 1 colorways flooding the market lately, but in the same way that Dunks and Air Force 1’s have been embraced in all types of colors and styles, it appears that Jordan Brand is attempting to create a similar role for the Air Jordan 1. This latest version, as you might have guessed, is for girls. The shoe sports a Black suede upper with a White midsole and Red Plum accents and stitching, but the standout feature of these kicks is the intricate Black lace pattern that covers the toe box and mid panel, giving the kicks a very unique and feminine look. These will be available some time in August at select Jordan retailers, such as Corporate.

Air Jordan IV (4) Head Designer: Tinker Hatfield Michael kept on playing in a confident and dominating way and won numerous honors and awards. The design, by Mr. Hatfield, wasn’t as revolutionary as the previous designs and kept a lot of the feeling from the third model. The Air Jordan shoes had started to get major popularity by now and sold out every here and there. A classic scene for all AJ fans is when one of the persons in the movie gets his brand new AJ IV’s scuffed by a bicycle rider and flips out about it, places his shoe upon a fire-hydrant and cleans it with a toothbrush. Rent the movie today if you haven’t seen it!!! Retro negative trend changes Nike and the Jordan Brand, realized that this was a golden opportunity to cash in so they started releasing so called Retro+ models. These had a similar design to the original but featured new colors or some minor design changes. |

He leads Chicago past the first round of the playoffs and serves notice that this team must not be taken lightly. |

Air Jordan III (3) Head Designer: Tinker Hatfield The 87-88 season was when Michael would receive his first NBA Most Valuable Player award. He also crushed the competition in the Slam Dunk contest and led the Bull’s to their best result since the 1974-75 season. Well he actually won all the major honors one can think of. Hatfield takes over This was also the very first Air Jordan to feature the Jumpman logotype instead of the Wings-logo that was on the I’s and II’s. Mars success This campaign followed Air Jordan for a couple of years and is definately one of the most appreciated Nike commercial series through all time. I’d say that the Air Jordan III was a major reason to the Air Jordan line’s overall success. |

The Air Jordan II (2) Head Designer: Bruce Kilgore Michael scored an average 37.1 points per game in the 86-87 season and became the first player since Wilt Chamberlain to top 3,000 points in a season. In November/December he scored 40 points or more in nine straight games. On April 16th he scored a total of 61 points against the Atlanta Hawks setting a new NBA record. Michael also played in the All-Star Game, won the Slam-Dunk Championship, and was named to the All-NBA First Team. No black leather in Italy? Surprisingly this is the only Air Jordan ever that has not been made in a black version. There were sketches and prototypes of a black leather AJ II but it never became reality. Why? …noone knows… Another retro setback |

Air Jordan II Rated:![]() Edward D. From: Dallas, TX:: 02/18/2003 The hottest shoe out right now, the Air Jordan 2, is the nicest, cleanest Jordan retro in any color. The 2’s are comfortable; the heavly padded and ankle region make the shoe look like they are one with your feet |

The Air Jordan I (1) Head Designer: Peter Moore As you all know this was the start of a beautiful era. In the 1984 NBA Draft, Michael was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the No. 3 overall pick. Nike understood that this player would turn out to be something else and signed him up to create a line of shoes and appearal. Banned design – backlash or marketing trick The black/red model was banned by the NBA back in 1985 due to NBA color rules and this actually helped to create more publicity and interest for the shoes. Who knows, it might have been a marketing trick from Nike. A great thing with the original Air Jordan I’s were that they came with a double set of laces to match the two different colors the shoe was made up in. For instance the black/red’s came with one set of black laces and one set of red laces. When talking about colors it should also be said that the Air Jordan I’s were the Air Jordan’s that were released in the most colorways of all AJ’s. 23 colorways (samples included) even beats the number of Air Jordan XI retros. Retro – demands change In 2001 they re-retroed them and this time around the demand was a lot greater. At some stores they sold out in just a few minutes. I bet a few of the people buying them was wishing they were around back in ’94… ![]() |

Air Jordan I (1) Low – Prom Pack
March 27, 2009Let’s go back in time (or forward if you’re still in school) to your high school Senior Prom. You go out to rent your tux, and you pick up something pretty clean. They give you the shoe box, and you open it up to find out your rented shoes either look extremely cheap or have been pre-worn. Well, that’s where this pack comes into play. The Air Jordan I (1) Low Prom Pack is one of the most interesting sets to release in a while. Both pairs are featured in patent leather, just like most traditional tuxedo shoes. Even the shoe laces are those of tuxedo shoes. To finish the shoes off, the holes on the toebox are removed for a more authentic look. Be on the lookout for these to release April 18th.
